Alright basically a very noble attempt to revive this long-stale blog.

I guess from what everyone has heard/knows, Ms Lim (yes our former form tutor) will be leaving for Japan on the 5th of August 2007. She'll be gone (I'd reckon) a year or so. So those interested in sending her off on the above-mentioned date please do take note of the following details:

We'll be sending her off at Changi airport. We'll be meeting her and saying our goodbyes at 7am. The terminal is yet to be confirmed but it'll be for sure we'll be at Changi airport, so yeah just come down if you have the time.

It'll be nice to have a little mini-gathering and a nice goodbye to the teacher who slugged with us through our ardous JC life. So yeah, for those who are able to make it, try your bestest best to come down yea! :)

I've also heard from Simone that she and a few other girls (yes, girls) are going down to visit Ms Lim on Mon - Tues. So if you're also interested in going down, contact Simone.

tomorrow, meet at tanah merah mrt station at 3pm and the shuttle will be there at 3.30pm so don't be late. the next shuttle is at 5pm and anytime between that you'll have to cab in. if you're meeting at 3pm, contact Simone to let her know, especially if you're gonna be late. if you're planning to head down to the chalet at any other time, please refer to the shuttle bus schedule in the previous post or you can take bus 250 (ie. taxi) in. tell the taxi driver you wanna go to the safra resort near the tanah merah ferry terminal and head toward the bungalows. we will be in bungalow no. 13.

remember to bring money to pay me for those who haven't and i'd like to request that everyone bring another $5-$10 extra cuz i'm not sure if it'll be enough. don't forget about cab fares too!

ok i'm sorry this is so late. here's the somewhat confirmed plans for prom preparation tomorrow.

girls:
those going to alicia's place, please meet at bukit batok mrt at 12.30pm then we'll head down to her house to change. the make up person's coming at 1 so then we can get our hair and make up done. don't forget to bring $50 each to pay the make up person. from there, we're thinking of getting a maxi cab to bring all of us down to aaron's place so that we can leave our barang barang for the sleepover there then we'll head down to the hotel. the maxi cab is gonna cost $50 in total so we'll share that cost ok?

guys:
if you're gonna stay over at aaron's, meet at 5pm at toa payoh mrt to take a bus down to his place. once you're there, you can get changed and do your hair and leave all your stuff for the sleepover there. then when the girls have reached, we'll probably try and get another maxi cab for the guys to climb into cuz each maxi cab can only fit 7 people. so just split the $50 maxi cab fare betweeen you all la.

whatever it is, everyone just bring alot of money for cabbing here there and everywhere la.

as for plans after the prom, i have no clue. ahaha. yes.

alright, now that our brains are nice and empty and we're feeling happy happy happy,

time to update everyone about the post A level plans.

first up, prom!

girls - if you're up for getting hair and make up done by someone other than yourself, please let Alicia know. so far she's found 2 people with 3 alternatives:
joanna can do hair styling and make up. so for hair and make up it'll be $50 while if you only want make up it'll be $40.
kelly can cut and style hair as well as light make up. however, if you do want make up, you'll have to bring your own for her to put for you. that'll be $25.
so girls, (and guys if you're interested??) please send Alicia an sms and let her know your preference.

Aaron has offered us his place to go to after prom so we can go there and have another sleepover with mahjong, cards... whatever la yea? haha. please let Mel know if you're up for the sleepover so that we roughly know how many people are going, ok?

also, i'm not exactly sure about the post prom party details but those who are interested in that please let Aaron know so that he can get you tickets. if i don't remember wrongly, tickets are going at $18.

next, class chalet!

just to remind yall cuz i KNOW many have forgotten, our class chalet's at NSRCC (aka Changi Safra) from 5th - 7th December (tuesday to thursday). there's gonna be a barbeque on the evening of the 5th (tuesday) so even if you can't make it for the whole 3 day chalet, please please try to come for the barbeque alright? let Mel know whether you're coming and whether you're gonna be staying.

Ron's gonna be in charge of the food for barbeque so anyone with skewers, butter brushes and all things barbeque related please contact ron to let him know. we also need volunteers to get food and marinate and all so please be nice and try to help out otherwise you ain't gonna get much to eat! hahaha

for now, i just need to remind everyone about the MONEY. hahahaha.
if you're gonna stay over, it's $30 while if you're just gonna come for the barbeque it's $15. however, please bring more money on that day cuz i'm not sure if that'll be enough to cover the rental of the bungalow and the food and drinks. so that's just the rough amount first. i'm upping the price cuz i'm a lil worried it won't be enough. if there's any extra cash we'll just get more drinks or something la.

Venue: Jurong Fuji Ice Palace (Jurong Entertainment Centre)
Rates: 4 for S$36.80 for unlimited time or $8.40 per student for 2 hrs only (not inclusive of skates rental S$2.10 each)

and since we don't have any chalet planned during the hols like other classes, let's all take a day off our mugging schedules for a class outing? was thinking we could have another bbq like the one we had alicia's place last year and spend just one day slacking. haha. if yall are for the idea, we kinda need someone to offer their home or club anything with a bbq pit? or we could order in pizza again? haha. i think the best dates will probably be the second week of the hols (5/6 - 11/6) cuz i'm sure everyone's busy before and after that. yep. so all you people who come online super often, please discuss and come to a decision alright? thanks.

HAHA! i have the honour of blogging about our trip to the beach today @ sentosa! Alright!
let's start off by saying that i arrived half an hour late (opps)
Oh man... at first i REALLY dun wanna go into the water!!!! but sigh, guess what happened. i got hit by a massive sandstorm caused by those very gentlemanly t19 guys. While trying to wash off the stupid sand and trying to take revenge, i ended up wet, sweaty and not to mention very very sandy. And then, there was no difference between going into the sea and not... so what the heck.
And did i tell u that stupid sister of mine, Brenda (aka Brendan Lee Botak) threw those lumps of sand so hard!!! It hurts u know?!?! And my dearest tudi Lee KahKen threw so much sand at me that some went into my eyes that my eyes teared. Wow! At the end of the day, i had enough sand in my clothes to build a sand castle man.

haha, it was fun on the whole lah.. so much laughs, so much craziness! heheh Thank God there's sucha holiday for us to enjoy! haha
yupZ and the gals, wah! we have such a great time playing frisbee by ourselves rite? And talking abt.. Ahem u-know-what. mel and eunice, did u both have a nice tan on your tummy now? ahhaha

i suddenly thought of this.

hey guys, i know some ppl r struggling with econs because the lecturer is going through so quickly (move like lightning), especially those who didnt take econs the first three months. yup. i've read one of my friend's blog and hopefully the 'below'(adapted) can help yer a little..

it's about Marginal Utility...

And for Econs lesson today, Miss Ngin brought 10 bars of that FULL-CREAM, "Milky Bar" chocolate and asked for a volunteer who was very hungry and likes milk. So Jaafer went up, and in 10 minutes, he had eaten all 10 bars! I was also very hungry then, and the more I saw him eat, the hungrier I got, but I think 3 bars of milk chocolate and I would be nauseous already! Miss Ngin was trying to demonstrate the meaning of Marginal benefits/marginal costs (and she did a really good job!). so marginal benefits would be his feeling of satisfaction: it was 9/10 at his first bar but 3/10 at the 10th. Marginal costs = $0, but he probably lost his abs! haha! 170 grams in total, no joke man...

yay... haha. was like walked pass t19 class and they wished her happy birthday! im so happy. yay eugene and ronald, i've bought my bowling ball, red colour... but their shoes no niced design lehs. sobs. got one super-d-duperly plain one.

yay t19 and my own class rock too. the guys in my class are quite nice. i mostly talk to the marists ppl and chen yang haha. yeah. then the gurls are like damn nice lars. all very enthu and supportive. yeps.

Hey T19,congrats that most of you got into 1T19 with Ms lim as our home tutor.3 cheers for you people.Hip Hip Hurray!
But 4 of them never got into the same class.Hope that your appealled to T19 is successful.hee.
After first 3 mths no more skipping lectures and playing a fool ler.haha.

no matter what fate 1T19 will face on monday, i will always remember the class..
Remember the morning basketball games..
the breaktime volleyball games..
the after school bball again..(and more?!)
the endless class outings..
pool and pool and pool..
(time to try out the other budget-saving 'pool')..
Remember the laughters that we shared during lessons..
econs esp..
phy..
chemistry..
maths..
..dot dot..
Remember the endless break we had..
sneaking food here n there..
breaking rules..
ponning lessons..(certainly a thing to remember cos we cant do now)..
Most importantly,
Remember those who left..
those who made up 1T19..
who brought more than laughters to the class..

i'm so so so bored. so can i blog abt today?? haha.anyway. ya. erm. okay. first was lan for some ppl[first thing tt some did when we reached town(i tink)], and arcade for some ppl[ya. first thing that the other some did] cool man. then later. we (melissa, yimin, alicia, shuyan,shingyee, wayne and me) were walking back to cine to meet the rest (which were onli donny and leo). and we walked into this fashion (and wayne was the onli guy in the shop). ya. and we(girls) started talking bout something that was kinda embarrassing quite infront of wayne. hah.ya.then later we went to play pool [coz there was no movie with the correct time(if u get wad i mean)] =). 2 tables. then some ppl went home later. some ppl went for pastamania. and then later went to accompany jan buy something(which she didn't buy) and i went home. so. if u want to noe wadeva happened at lan and after i left, asked the rest.
p/s: crap.sorry if u tot it was wu liao. was just too bored. ya.

Hey no fair. Missed the BBQ when everyone else was happily enjoying themselves and tucking in. Guess it's hard to control sleep huh? =P

Then, on the second day, so many people were going/gone home already when I came. So it was quite deserted then. =( But never mind, we are going to stay as a class and more outings will come our way right?

okk blogging abt chalet haha :p wonder how we managed to get a chalet cuz my friends were complaining all chalets were full!! lets see, first day we went there to have a bbq..wah brought a lot things so heavy!!! wah the bbq food was mm mm goood :P all thanks to the master chefs haha think dennis cooked a lot!! who else ah..clarence, ervin, alicia...sorry if i forgot u. they bbq the usual chicken wings and sausages and oops i gtg..will edit this later haha :p

I want to complain! Such a nice chalet and i can't stay overnight...gotta be whisked home by midnight!

I want to complain! So many fun pple are not present at the first day! (all t19 pple are fun :) )

I want to complain! How come there's only 24 hours a day? ( when 1t19 needs to many hours to get together, bond, and play?!)

i can't believe i missed it damnit!! was reali sad tt i cldn't go.. sori everybody... i'm sure everyone had fun rite? haha. it's juz tt i've been reali busy wid some church ting so... yea. sux i noe. pray for me k? e ting's tonight n i reali hope our planning didn't screw up.

Sorry guys, my dad doesnt allow me to bring his beloved majong set..

PS: Please bring along big water bottles tmr. Dont end up like me having to drink very hot water from one pathetic kettle shared among 30 ppl..n ended up melting e bottles to mini size when u tried to fill up one in desperation to boil more water.. =]
